Katie’s Korner - Spring 2023
I hope you’ve all enjoyed OGC’s monthly newsletters, but I’d like to update you on how OGC USA specifically has progressed these last few months. The weather has certainly been cold, but we’ve received a warm welcome into the North American market. We’ve been fortunate enough to gain business not only in the US, but in Mexico and Canada already as well.
Our gages have been used in the manufacture of automotive transfer cases, power take-off shafts and tap guns for drink dispensers. That means we’re not just serving the automotive industry, where one would traditionally expect thread and spline gage requirements, but agriculture and food and beverage distributions as well. That’s just the tip of the iceberg too – we’re currently manufacturing a set of spline rings for an aircraft control column, among other exciting projects. I’ve enjoyed learning about new applications with each valued customer and look forward to exploring many more this year.
Below is a sampling of a few spline gage orders we shipped in recent months. It’s easy to see the fine craftsmanship we instill in each gage manufactured. We’re very proud of our team and their dedication to providing superior product quality to our customers.
The upcoming months will see the addition of several stocked thread gages – we’ve been busy researching the Standards and sizes which will be most beneficial for our customers and are eager to get our orders in-house. Look forward to getting G and R series BS plugs and rings, not just at a great price, but within just a few days!
Finally, we’ve nailed down a printer, so our brochures will be available in hard copy. I’ll be mailing out to those who have already requested some, but let me know if you’d like to have one handy on your desk and I’ll get it right over to you! If you’re interested in having it translated, please reach out and we can work with you to accommodate. You can also download a copy online here.
2023 is shaping up to be an exciting year for OGC USA. I’m eager to continue building new relationships and rekindling old ones. Don’t hesitate to reach out – even if just to say hi!
